And then it was November...uhh, what?
Well, I hope your Halloween festivities were extra cozy, full of candy chutes and cool costumes. And now the season of keeping our party pants ready for cheery get-togethers, and eating all of the good food with our favorite people is upon us.
Speaking of which! We're quite thrilled to announce our next Dope Dinner Series (number 8!) next Thursday, November 9th at 6pm with the wines of José Pastor Selections. The wonderful Chris Barnes, who represents these gorgeous wines, will be joining us for dinner. Read on!
For nearly two decades, José Pastor Selections has been the go-to for legit Iberian wines. They dared to be different when chemicals and manipulation ruled vineyards, and terroir identity was stripped away with large, loud, quantity-driven producers. JPS cheered on minimalist, traditional, terroir-loving growers. In 2017, they expanded the fam with Latin American and Japanese winegrowers.
From old-school Rioja, a dying art of Spanish winemaking, to the historic wines of Jerez and Galicia's finest, they've introduced wine lovers to hidden gems like Palomino and Mencía from Ribeira Sacra's ancient terraces. They've even led folks on a treasure hunt for ungrafted Canary Islands vineyards. Unearthing these almost-forgotten wines and supporting small growers still fuels their fire.
We'll be pairing this gorgeous portfolio with 6 courses of Autumnal vibes and feels, put together by your favorite Field Bar Kitchen Friends: Ike, Inna, McKayla, and Matthew. Take a peek!
*A little note - as much as we'd love to accommodate substitutions, our kitchen is tiny and we are only able to accommodate certain small omissions for dietary restriction needs. Please contact us here if you want to check-in about this if you have questions.
Want in? We’d so love to have you!
If it’s your first time attending a Dope Dinner, there are a few different seating options.
We setup a few communal tables along the banquette bench, this is for folks who love hanging out and meeting new people.
Window counter seats are especially nice for a little date night with just you and sweetie or bff.
Bar seating is also quite fun, and you’ll get some extra face-time with your favorite Field friends who’ll be taking care of you.
