Grape Ink

Damigiana #6 (2021)

$46.00

2021 Red - 750ml Bottle

Oregon, USA

  • Pinot Noir
  • Savagnin

From Grape Ink:

A coferment of Pinot Noir and Savagnin fermented in an old open puncheon and aged 34 months in Italian glass damigiane - this small bottling marks the 6th damigiane release we have bottled since 2018.

This release explores how small percentages of white grapes can influence a red wine's texture, acidity, ageability and balance. The damigiane productions are some of our personal favorites as each vessel is a small think tank of how wines could be made from our farm and neighborhood looking into the future.

After trying the wine periodically, it was bottled by hand on the 34th month after harvesting in 2021 to send to our friends in Seattle and distributor in Washington @vin2uwine

We look forward to sharing more of these small projects in 2025 ... after years of patience and aging the wines are ready!
